Mothers Against Methamphetamine
Peace In Your Home
Peace In Your Home, Dr. Mary Holley
Our new book, Peace in Your Home, is now
available for family members of addicted loved
ones. Peace in Your Home is for those
who struggle to respond appropriately to the
demands of an addicted relative. This 64 page
book includes sections on Overcoming Denial,
Special Relationships, Issues unique to Methamphetamine,
Boundaries and Responsibilities, Self
Image, Fear and Anxiety, Thinking For Yourself,
Goal Setting, Communication, Control Issues,
Guilt and Anger, Forgiveness, Grief, Tough Love,
Prayer and Spiritual Warfare, and The 12 Steps
for Family Members.
Peace in Your Home is appropriate for family
members of people in addiction to any substance,
but is especially valuable to relatives of
a methamphetamine addict. There are no other
resources that address the special needs of the
family coping with a methamphetamine addiction
in their home. Methamphetamine is so disruptive
to the mental health of addicts that every
relationship they have is strained to the point of
breaking down.
The key concept of this book is that while you
cannot control your addicted loved one, you can
control your response to his or her demands
and outbursts. You do not have to let your addicted
loved one control you. That independence
from your addicted loved one requires a strong
self image and emotional control in your own
life. You have to be at peace with yourself and
with God in order to accomplish Peace in
Your Home.
Peace in Your Home can be used by individuals
as they struggle to find peace in a home
scarred by drug abuse. It can also be used in a
group setting with discussion points in each section
to guide a group in addressing the problems
shared by others. Peace in Your Home also
includes journaling prompts that encourage you
to explore your own situation in a safe place and
in communication with God. Journaling allows
you to express your real feelings in writing, clarifying
your thoughts and responses, and expressing
them to God in prayer.
Peace in Your Home is available for purchase
by clicking here or by phone
1-866-293-8901 for $5.95 per single copy, or
$40.00 for lots of 10. Special chapter pricing is
also available.

Welcome to Our New Chapters
Two new chapters have formed in the
past few months. Bobbie Russwurm has
organized Bleu 23’s Mothers Against Meth in
Elkhart, Indiana, and they are active in jail and
prison ministry in North/Central Indiana.
Dawn Gentry has organized Wichita Falls
Mothers Against Methamphetamine in
Wichita Falls, Texas. They have been in
ministry for months now and recently have
officially registered as a chapter.
Numerous other chapters are in early
organization and training preparing
to become official chapters in their
communities. Mothers Against
Methamphetamine provides training manuals
and recognition as a 501-C3 non profit
organization under our group exemption
with the IRS.
If you would like to form a chapter in your
community, check out the chapter area on
our website, www.mamasite.net. All the
required forms and manuals are available
there to download and complete. You will
need a Board of Directors, five or six like
minded people who are willing to work with
you to make a chapter happen. The strength
and vitality of the group depends upon their
willingness to let the Holy Spirit lead.
Most chapters sponsor support groups for
the family members of methamphetamine
addicts as they cope with the unique
challenges of a meth addiction in the family.
Our new book Peace in Your Home
was designed to assist them in that effort.
Many chapters also sponsor classes on
methamphetamine addiction and support
groups in their local county jails and nearby
prisons. They are helping hurting people
defeat the addiction that has cost them
everything.
Chapters are also active in their
communities educating youth about the
dangers of methamphetamine use and the
impact it has on the brain and personality of
the user.
Please pray for all of our chapters, especially
the new ones, as they go to bat against
methamphetamine in their communities.
