Prison Ministry
Prison ministry is very important to us at Mothers Against Methamphetamine. Our goal is to provide quality drug educational materials to prison and jail ministries at minimum cost to you.
Power Over Addiction is our flagship program for inmates and addicts living in bondage to substance abuse. This video and workbook curriculum is a drug education program designed for the inmate setting, and is generally used as a component of a larger substance abuse program. The first hour of the video presents a survey of drugs of abuse, including methamphetamine, and discusses their impact on the brain and personality of the user. The second hour is an invitation to know the power of Jesus Christ over addiction. His mercy brings restoration to the spirit, mind and emotions of each person He encounters.
The Power Over Addiction workbook includes a self assessment test that inmates can complete and submit to Mothers Against Methamphetamine, along with 50 cents for postage, to receive a Power Over Addiction Certificate of Completion for their file.

Red Devil Lye is a 22 page full color booklet that gives a brief description of the impact of methamphetamine on the brain and personality of the user. Red Devil Lye is illustrated with brain scans and diagrams. It also includes an invitation to know the mercy of Jesus Christ and His power to restore the addict to sanity. While quantities last, we have a series of pamphlets available at very low cost for prison ministries only, that describe the effects of methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin, GHB, Alcohol and nicotine, ecstasy, marijuana, and inhalants. These pamphlets also offer the addict the mercy of Jesus Christ to heal his heart and mind.

The copyright is released on the Power Over Addiction Study Guide, and the guide can be reproduced or photocopied. The copyright is also released on the video, so that copies can be made for jail ministries.
To receive reduced cost materials from Mothers please submit written proof of your jail ministry status - a business card or a letter on jail or prison letterhead stating that you are ministering to inmates.
The copyright for Power Over Addiction, Red Devil Lye, and pamphlets are released to all prison ministries. You may make copies of the literature, workbook and videos for prison or re-entry related work.
